  • How To Set Up A Webinar

There are three key stages in setting up a webinar well. The first stage is to prepare. For the second stage you must create your assets. In the third and final stage you should promote your webinar so that it attracts the right audience. Here’s a breakdown of each stage in the process.

How To Set Up A Webinar

    Stage 1: Preparation

First consider exactly what you intend to achieve via your webinar. What’s your ultimate objective?

First and foremost, you must choose a good topic that is relevant and interesting to your audience. What is the benefit for the viewers of what you are going to share? The style of your webinar may be dictated by the audience’s needs. An audience wanting to learn from you will want nuggets of important information and an audience you are selling to will need to be kept enthused.

It is vital that the chosen speaker for the webinar takes steps to deliver the message effectively.

Stage 2: Create Your Webinar Assets

You need to consider your webinar’s slide deck. Particularly – what are the images that will drive home your messages? Are the images inspiring, do they make better sense of complex information?

Another webinar asset that is required is a landing page for your viewers to register. This can be fully customised to your needs along with your confirmation and reminder emails.

Stage 3: Promote And Market Your Webinar

You should begin the process of marketing for the presentation about 6 weeks before it goes live. Know where the best places are to advertise to your target audience. You can always use websites like Upcoming.com and social media channels. If you have a customer base or established following promote the webinar through newsletters or consider using popular eMarketing software to make the process easy and direct, like MailChimp and Adestra.

Following these three simple steps will mean you will have a polished webinar on the day, which will be viewed by a relevant audience.
