  • 11 Ways To Drive Webinar Registration

    It’s no good planning a mind-blowing, ground-breaking webinar if nobody bothers to register or attend. So it’s time to plan and execute a strategy to get people clicking and joining. Here’s our 11 top tips:

    1. Create a great landing page. Make it interesting, exciting and concise. Most importantly, make your registration process quick and easy. Want to find out how? Read our blog How To Create A Successful Webinar Registration Page
    2. Send a thank-you confirmation email. Include all the relevant information including an option to add to calendar. Make it sound exciting! Use the same info on emails to customers or new subscribers, all with CTA’s and and links to registration.
    3. Send promotional emails at the right time. Catch people at their most receptive on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Deliver value with each reminder. Include your relevant blog posts/guests posts, tips and teasers.
    4. Mix it up. Don’t keep sending the same email, change the tone or format. Catch their attention with a headline that promises something useful or addresses a problem. Perhaps be a little controversial. Add a teaser or promotional video.
    5. Be mobile-friendly. Don’t lose potential registrants.
    6. Offer a freebie. Entice your audience by offering white papers, articles, ebooks or discounts of products or services.
    7. Offer credits. If it’s a paid webinar, offer credit for attending not just the live webinar, but also for on-demand giving them flexibility and an extra incentive.
    8. Add a renowned guest speaker. Get people talking, create a buzz.
    9. Post blogs on the topic. Make it the subject of the moment. Make sure links to your landing page are clear and obviously placed.
    10. Use social media. Choose a hashtag for the event and use it. Create a publishing schedule and update your platforms with reminders as the webinar approaches. Update your banner images. Plan social PPC ads; it’s an easy way to spread the word.
    11. Be flexible. Run your webinar at multiple times or create an on-demand webinar too.
